The Palm House at Kew Gardens; London, from my archive, August 2004
Google logo was wrapped within Kew's famous Palm House yesterday to mark Kew's 250th anniversary year. The Palm House at Kew was built in 1844-48; in recent years it has gained recognition as the world's most important surviving Victorian glass and iron structure.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the historic gardens today to mark the occasion, 50 years after their last official visit for its 200th anniversary; lazy queen !!
