Clocks: the former Skopje's rail station, Skopje, Macedonia, September 2010
Skopje was shacked by an earthquake in the 1960s, when the rail station's clock stopped forever, and became a unforgotten part of the history of the city.

Macedonia Square, Skopje, Macedonia, September 2010
I've used a Nikon DX lens @18mm on a full frame camera ( Nikon D700), so the photo shows the whole lens's image circle, framed by a black margin.
I've taken this shot from the café of Hotel Square, where I stayed, looking to the north and the old city. The construction site in the square is the place that a gigantic statue of Alexander the Great would be erected; this re-flames an old dispute between Macedonia and Greece.

Dancers; the festival of the sound of bazaar, Skopje, Macedonia, September 2010
Coincidently, when I arrived in Skopje and crossed the Stone Bridge arriving at the old town, the festival of the sound of bazaar was begun; here are members of a dance group.
The festival is aimed at promoting the cultural heritage of Skopje’s old bazaar, located in the Ottoman part of the city.
