The Pregnant Oyster: The Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berli, Germany, September 2011
At last, during last days of my time in Germany I visited Berlin. According to my friend, Kristin, Berliners call the building, the pregnant oyster. It is designed in 1957 by an American architect, Hugh Stubbins Jr.

Modern stain-glass: reuzkirchengemeinde, Göttingen, Germany, March 2011
It is the west window of Kreuzkirchengemeinde(Cross church) designed by Diez Brandi in the 1960s. Diez’s window is a great example for turning a traditional form into a modern design. Here Deiz transformed stain-glass into concrete-glass by using concrete instead of lead.
