Haus Werner (1913), designed by Mies van der Rohe, Berlin, March 2013.

In fact, I've visited this house, considered as one of the early-Bauhaus buildings, when it became a 100 years old. Here, the idea of 'form follows function' initially manifested. This visit was as a part of an architectural tour about early-Bauhaus buildings in Berlin, during which we visited buildings designed by Gustav Hart, Hermann Muthesius, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe ( 2 houses), and Walter Gropius. The tour was led by Dr Carola Veit.
